In most regions, no building permit is required for installing an Ombrax® cover. Please consult your local building authority for accurate information.
+What can the Ombrax® cover be used for?
Ombrax® Carport is perfect for parking spaces, gardens, terraces, storage areas and more.
Ombrax® CamperCover is suitable for motorhomes, vans, caravans and off-road vehicles.
+Does the Ombrax® cover protect from rain?
The ProtectoMesh fabric is water-permeable and can withstand heavy rainfall.
+Can the Ombrax® cover withstand storms?
Yes, thanks to its special construction, the Ombrax® cover can handle strong winds and storms.
+How does the Ombrax® car cover work in winter?
In winter, it protects against frost. If not needed or heavy snow is expected, it can be folded down to save space.
+How long does the Ombrax® net last?
The mesh is the only wear part and lasts on average at least 7 years. The first 3 years are covered by warranty. All other components are virtually indestructible.
+What are the dimensions of the Ombrax® cover?
Ombrax® Carport measures 3 × 5.5 m and can be flexibly extended and customized.
Ombrax® CamperCover is made to measure.
+In which colors is the Ombrax® cover available?
It is available galvanized or in powder-coated colors for a surcharge. More colors available on request.
+How are the point foundations for Ombrax® set?
Foundations must be prepared according to your engineer’s instructions. A two-module Carport weighs ~400 kg and measures 6 × 5.5 m.
For the CamperCover, exact dimensions are provided after order.
+How long does assembly take?
Once the concrete foundations are set, the Carport can be assembled in under one hour by two people – no special knowledge required.
For the CamperCover, a team is recommended due to height.
+What if I move house?
You can take your Ombrax® cover with you. The Carport is easy to transport (400 kg). The CamperCover is also transportable but typically requires a team due to height and weight.
+Which countries do you ship to?
Shipping is available to South Tyrol, Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
+Can I personalize my Ombrax® cover?
Yes – custom colors, logos or numbered columns are available on request.
